With its seductive smoke and rituals, fabled history and potential to inspire and create collective atmosphere, incense proved to be an irresistible canvas to carry scents inspired by the abstract and etherial. 

Series 01 is an olfactory portrait of the most inspired day. 

Through an experimental process, each hour is rendered as a conceptual accord, blended of notes distilled from a vast archive of photography. Images of architecture, painting and sculpture, land art and the poetry of our planetary home serve to guide five hand-blended burning perfumes that are simultaneously gently present, grounding and transportive.

Hand-crafted Japanese-style incense, structurally and materially pure, serves as an extraordinary format for conceptual infusion and the delicate release of scents composed to elevate experience and heighten daily ritual.

To use incense, light one or both tips of the incense stick. Gently extinguish the flame by blowing or fanning. The stick should glow red and give off a delicate wisp of pale fragrant smoke. Place stick in an appropriate burner. Enjoy!
