Rob is an award-winning actor, writer, director, and educator. After a two-decade career as an actor in New York City and Los Angeles, where he can be heard on the original cast recording of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. He made the leap to work in the academic theater, where he surprised himself by learning to write and do research. His books are about his interest in acting and psychology. His playwriting has been called "philosophical sketch comedy." But it is his work in the classroom where his true passion lies. 

Over the past decade, he has transformed his classroom into a crucible for social change and has adapted to trends impacting Generation Z. His advocacy for social change through theatre is impacted by his work as a writer and director but also by working with students who understand that their voices can impact the future. From climate change theatre, directing shows against gun laws advocacy, and his deep commitment to the mental health of Gen Z his work is about supporting their growth as actors, artists, and better citizens in the world.
